    Common Name:  Black Fat-tail Scorpion
Native Locale: Middle North and West Africa, the Middle East.
    Category: Terrestrial
    Adult Size:  2.5 inches
    Lifespan: 5 years
    Growth Rate:
Temperament: Aggressive and moves very fast
Difficulty: Due to the toxicity of its venom, this scorpion is only for experienced collectors.

Identifiable by black and brown coloration. Its sting is venomous and considered medically significant and potentially lethal.

They require sufficient substrate to support digging and a hide, such as a piece of bark. Not recommended for communal due to cannibalism.

Like tarantulas, scorpions should not be handled. Dropping a scorpion can result in death of the scorpion unless it bites you before it's dropped. Then you both have a problem.
