We breed and sell a wide selection of spiders, tarantulas, and isopods. We also carry a wide range of essential supplies to care for the animals we sell. All of our animals are captive-bred, and we guarantee the condition of the animal you receive, as outlined in our Live Animal Guarantee policy.

MISSION STATEMENT
To make the beauty and wonderment of isopods, tarantulas, and spiders available to all naturalists (adults) through responsible breeding and education. This is a passion first and a business second. Our priority is the well-being of our animals. To this end, we focus on maintaining microsystems that match the natural habitats of each species. We also have specific "rules" that we ask you to follow when ordering our live animals. We want your specimen to arrive in the same optimal health it had when we shipped it. ​

Our store and website are hosted by Wix, an online e-commerce platform that supports Keith's Arachnids. Your data is stored on a secure server behind a firewall through Wix's data storage, databases, and the general Wix application.

We work very hard to ensure Keith's Arachnids website is as accurate as possible. So, we want to be upfront by telling you that we reserve the right to correct any errors, inaccuracies, or omissions and to change or update information. Sizing
Our tarantulas and scorpions are categorized by species and sold based on size (inches), which reflects age. Tarantulas are measured diagonally from front toe to back toe. We try to be as accurate as possible, but sizing hundreds can be unwieldy, so please expect slight measurement discrepancies.

Tarantula Fangs
RESPECT YOUR ANIMALS
Contrary to many pictures online, tarantulas, scorpions, spiders, and isopods
do not enjoy being handled. This can be highly stressful to the animal. With
tarantulas, stress can cause them to become defensive, resulting in throwing
urticating hairs and biting. The urticating hairs can cause health issues if they
are ingested into your nasal passage and if they get into your eyes.
Every species of tarantulas and scorpions has a unique bite and venom
combination, and you can't predict how your body will react. Therefore,
seeking immediate medical attention is best if you're ever bitten.
Tarantula fangs are not clean and can get quite large. So, in addition to venom
toxicity, the resulting puncture wounds can lead to secondary infection if not
properly cared for.

Another consideration, if you're tempted to handle your tarantula, is that the
size and weight of a tarantula mean that a fall will likely result in death. Even
dropping your tarantula a few inches can cause its abdomen to rupture,
killing it.
So be respectful when caring for your animals, and NEVER put your hand anywhere near the striking distance of the animal. Remember that tarantulas and scorpions are lightning-fast and can jump before you can react.
We offer 12-inch tongs and paintbrushes to use in lieu of your hands for feeding and coaxing your animal. These tools can also hurt or kill your animal if not used with great care.
As stated in the terms above, you cannot hold Keith's Arachnids responsible for any injury resulting from an animal you purchase from us. You've been warned.
