Formerly called Armadillidium c.f. frontisotre ‘Croatian Giant’.

A large, beefy Armadillidium species from the family 'Armadillidiidae.'

This species thrives in a habitat with low humidity, semi-arid conditions, and good ventilation.

Not sexually dimorphic.

AKA "Pill Bug," it rolls into a ball to retain moisture when the habitat is too dry, as well as for a defensive posture.

 

Captive bred. Colonies include various sizes/ages.
