Difficulty: Recommended for intermediate to experienced collectors.This is a morph of the Armadillidium klugii Montenegro. It's brown with yellow and/or white spots, and a white skirt. Armadillidium klugii is often referred to as a "clown isopod" due to its colorful markings.
Prefers a moderate moisture gradient, starting with one side of the enclosure being wet, the middle being moist, and the opposite side being completely dry.
Sensitive to traveling and being moved from one enclosure to another. Consequently, they can be slow starters.
Reclusive and sometimes burrows. Active during the day.
Not sexually dimorphic.
AKA "Pill Bug", thus rolls into a ball to retain moisture when the habitat is too dry, as well as a defensive posture.
