Difficulty: Good for beginning collectors. Easy to handle and care for.Looks similar to the Armadillidium klugii “Montenegro” but larger. The difference is in their spots. The A. kluggii has three bands of white spots, while the A. werneri has five bands of spots. A. werneri spots are never yellow.
The A. werneri is a bold and active isopod compared to other species.
Captive bred. Colonies include various sizes/ages.
