Difficulty: IntermediateFrom the Armadillidae family. A rare isopod identified by its dark body with a white skirt, and a red-to-orange face and tail. They resemble the Rubber Ducky species, in that their heads resemble a duckling's bill and face.
Prefer a climate that mimics the caves in Thailand; humid, warmer temperatures (65* - 76*) and a mostly damp substrate (not wet).
Not sexually dimorphic.
AKA "Pillbug", thus rolls into a ball ("arma") to retain moisture when the habitat is too dry, as well as a defensive posture.
Captive bred. Colonies include various sizes/ages.
