    Smaller than other cubaris species and is often referred to as a dwarf. Identifiable by black and white bodies with a red beak. 

    Very shy and prefers darkness. Consequently, they burrow and aren't usually visible during the daytime.

    They thrive in humid climates and damp soils that are not excessively wet. Their substrate can never dry out. Good ventilation is critical. A deep substrate to enable them to burrow.

    They don't like to be disturbed.

    Not sexually dimorphic.

    AKA "Pill Bug", thus rolls into a ball (conglobate) to retain moisture when the habitat is too dry, as well as a defensive posture.

     

    Captive bred. Colonies include various sizes/ages.
