Its name comes from the Latin prefix albo, meaning white, and the Latin word striatus, meaning lines or stripes.
This T lives in deep burrows, so be sure to provide sufficient substrate.
No urticating hairs, so its only defense is to run or bite. Venom is medically significant.
Should not be handled. Extremely fast-moving.
Cyriopagopus albostriatus is edible and used as food. When fried, these spiders are sold on the streets of Cambodia.
