Porcellio laevis = smooth pig (due to its smooth shell)

Large, wide-bodied. Bold and good eaters.

Sexually dimorphic. Only females have the mottled calico coloring. Males are solid grey.

AKA "Sowbug", thus cannot roll into a ball. 

Very hardy species thrive in damp and dry environments via a moisture gradient habitat. Good ventilation.

Captive bred. Colonies include various sizes/ages.
