Difficulty: Good for beginning collectors. Easy to care for and breed.A pied form of the Porcellionides pruinosus 'Powder Orange', also known as the orange cousin to the 'Oreo Crumble' isopod. Looks almost identical to the 'Oreo Crumble' but with a vibrant orange color.
A medium-sized, soft-bodied isopod.
Hardy species prefer warm and constantly humid environments.
Not sexually dimorphic.
Fast-moving and challenging to catch.
AKA "Sowbug," thus cannot roll into a ball.
Note: This species lacks a hard shell (soft-bodied) and is, therefore, delicate. Extra care must be taken when transferring them. Don't handle or drop soft-bodied isopods into a container.
This species is known to cannibalize each other when their diet has insufficient protein.
Captive bred. Colonies include various sizes/ages.
